Regional Government grants former Carmo Health Center facilities to ACAPORAMA
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the free, precarious transfer of parts of the former Carmo Health Center to ACAPORAMA.
Through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 218/2026, the Madeiran executive approved the transfer, on a precarious and free basis, of autonomous units AT, AU, and AJ, located on the 1st floor of the former Carmo Health Center building, in the Serrado do Mar Housing Complex, in Câmara de Lobos.
The transfer, which covers a total area of 261m2, is intended for ACAPORAMA - Association of the People's Houses of Madeira, a non-profit public utility association. The property, owned by the Autonomous Region of Madeira, will be used for the association's activities, which include consulting, technical support, and the development of cultural, recreational, and social projects.
- Term: 5 years, renewable for equal periods.
- Responsibilities: ACAPORAMA assumes all costs related to the conservation, maintenance, and use of the spaces, as well as current utility expenses.
