Tourism opens competition for head of events division
Through Notice no. 104/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture announced the opening of a competitive procedure to fill a 2nd-degree intermediate management position: Head of the Tourism Events Division, integrated into the Directorate of Information, Projects and Tourism Events Services of the Regional Directorate of Tourism.
The position requires a degree and proven professional experience in public functions. Selected candidates will be evaluated through Curricular Assessment and Public Interview. The competition jury is chaired by Bárbara Sofia da Silva Spinola, Regional Director of Tourism.
Applications must be formalized within ten business days, starting from the day following the publication of the notice, via a request submitted in person at Avenida Arriaga no. 18, in Funchal, or via registered mail.
