The Regional Government will financially support the 'Nature Festival 2026', a tourism-sports event to be held in Seixal in October.
The Government Council has authorised the signing of a tourism cooperation protocol with the Seixal Naval Club, granting substantial financial support for the organisation of the "Nature Festival 2026". The event is scheduled to take place between the 6th and 11th of October.
According to Regional Government Council Resolution No. 855/2026, the financial contribution to be granted to the Seixal Naval Club will not exceed €171,900.00 (one hundred and seventy-one thousand nine hundred euros).
The project falls under tourism promotion and animation, with the aim of attracting new tourists and strengthening the segment that combines tourism and sport. The Regional Government considers that the initiative has great potential to promote and project the Madeira destination abroad, contributing to the rejuvenation of tourism demand.
The protocol will take effect from the date of its signing until 30 December 2026.
