ADESCA - Social and Cultural Development Association of Camacha receives financial support for the ethnographic event taking place in July.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Resolution no. 572/2026, has authorized the signing of a development and cooperation protocol with ADESCA - Social and Cultural Development Association of Camacha. The objective is the execution of the project titled "Camacha of Yesterday - Madeira of Always", scheduled for July 18th and 19th.
The financial support, which will not exceed €40,000.00, aims to promote the tourism and cultural offering of the Region, highlighting Madeiran traditions through a parade and an Ethnographic Exhibition. The protocol, granted by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, remains in effect until December 30, 2026.
