The 'Eco Rally Madeira 2026' event will receive financial support of up to 70,000 euros from the Regional Government.
The Regional Government Council has authorized a cooperation protocol with the New Wave - Atlantic Automobile Association for the organization of 'Eco Rally Madeira 2026', scheduled for October 2026. The financial support, which will not exceed 70,000.00 euros, aims to promote sustainable mobility and technological innovation.
The event is part of the FIA Eco Rally Cup, the Portuguese New Energies Championship, and the Iberian Eco Rally Challenge, reinforcing the sustainable tourism strategy of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
Ordinance No. 536/2026 authorises the distribution of 37,000 euros for a Programme Contract with the Seixal Naval Club, aimed at the 'Canyoning Madeira Meeting' and 'Mountain Bike Madeira Meeting' projects.
The Ponta do Sol Municipal Council has signed a program contract with Club Sports da Madeira, granting financial support of 3,500 euros for the 2026 edition of the Madeira Rally.
The Regional Government will financially support the 'Nature Festival 2026', a tourism-sports event to be held in Seixal in October.
