The Madeira Classic Car Club receives regional support for five sporting events between May and July 2026.
Through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 486/2026, a development and cooperation protocol was authorized with the Madeira Classic Car Club. The financial support, totaling €287,500.00, is intended for five tourism promotion initiatives:
The project aims to strengthen Madeira's projection as a tourist destination of excellence and boost the local economy during the execution period, which runs from May to July 2026.
The Santo da Serra Golf Club will organize a tournament commemorating the 50 years of Madeira's Autonomy, with significant financial support from the Regional Government.
The company Circo Mundial Mariani has applied for a license to occupy an 11,699 m² area near Cais 8, between November 2026 and January 2027.
The Regional Government will financially support the "2026 Grape Harvest Festival" and the "XIX Super Trial São Vicente Madeira", two events that are part of the region's tourism promotion calendar.
