ACAPORAMA will receive financial support from the Regional Government to cover costs for the event held in Funchal at the start of the year.
Through Resolution No. 473/2026, the Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the signing of a program contract with ACAPORAMA - Association of Community Houses of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The support is intended to co-finance the costs incurred in organizing the Vamos Cantar os Reis 2026 event, which took place on January 5, 2026, at the Funchal Municipal Garden Auditorium.
The event, which was part of the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year festivities program, is recognized for its contribution to promoting Madeiran culture, including music, ethnography, gastronomy, and handicrafts. The total financial support will not exceed €15,000.00, processed as follows:
The program contract is effective until December 30, 2026, and its execution is the responsibility of the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture and the Regional Director of Tourism.
