Regional Government supports 9 tourism animation projects for the Flower Festival
The Regional Government Council has authorized the signing of development and cooperation protocols for tourism promotion and animation, aiming to enrich the Flower Festival and other cultural events. The support, totaling a significant investment, is allocated to the following entities:
- Maria Isabel Gomes Melo Borges de Castro: €40,000.00 for the "Baile Primavera" project (Resolution no. 208/2026).
- MQ - Mercado Quinhentista: Associação de Recriação Histórica de Machico: €30,000.00 for the "XIX Edition of the Machico 16th Century Market" (Resolution no. 214/2026).
- Associação ANIMAD: €28,427.27 for the "Aqua" project (Resolution no. 209/2026).
- Associação Cultural Império da Ilha: €28,427.27 for the "Autonomia em Flor" project (Resolution no. 212/2026).
- João dos Santos Encarnação Mendes: €26,727.27 for the "Freedom" project (Resolution no. 215/2026).
- Escola de Samba Caneca Furada: €26,727.27 for the "50 years of Madeiran identity" project (Resolution no. 216/2026).
- Tramas e Enredos - Associação: €26,727.27 for the "Do Mar à Serra" project (Resolution no. 211/2026).
- Palco D´Emoções - Associação Cultural, Recreativa, Desportiva e Escola de Samba: €23,227.27 for the "A Flor da Liberdade" project (Resolution no. 213/2026).
- Poeira D’Enigmas - Associação Recreativa, Cultural e Escola de Samba: €23,227.27 for the "Florescer da Autonomia" project (Resolution no. 210/2026).
These protocols, valid until December 30, 2026, reinforce the Executive's commitment to promoting Madeira as a destination of excellence, integrating these projects into the regional Tourism Animation Calendar.
