The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries has opened a competition to fill the position of Head of the Incentive Systems Division for three years. Applications may be submitted within 10 working days of the notice being published.
A recruitment competition is open for the position of Head of the Incentive Systems Division at the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development in Funchal. This is a second-tier middle-management position, to be filled on a three-year service commission.
Applicants must be public-sector employees on permanent contracts, hold a university degree, have the technical competence and aptitude for management, coordination and oversight duties, and have at least four years of professional experience in roles requiring a degree. Candidates will be selected through an assessment of their qualifications and a public interview.
The deadline is 10 working days from the publication of Notice No. 512/2026 in Series II of the Official Journal. Applications must be addressed to the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries and submitted to the Regional Secretariat at Rua Dr. Pestana Júnior, No. 6, 5th floor, Funchal, or sent by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt within the deadline. The notice specifies the documents to be submitted, including a detailed CV and proof of qualifications and professional experience.

Sara Patrícia Rodrigues Santos has been appointed, on a three-year commission of service, head of the Human Resources and Administrative Support Division of the Regional Authority for Working Conditions. The appointment takes effect from 28 September 2026.
