The maritime transport company and unions have agreed on new salary scales for crew members, effective from March 2026.
The Company Agreement between Porto Santo Line - Transportes Marítimos, L.da and the Federation of Maritime Workers' Unions - FESMAR - Salary amendment and other matters has been published. This agreement, covering one company and 55 workers, applies to Porto Santo Line ships registered in the Portuguese register or the Madeira International Register.
The agreement establishes new salary scales effective from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. The basic monthly salaries are as follows:

The agreement also updates the reference value for meals to €13.67 per day and the value of the cash ration for days in the outfitting port.
The Regional Government of Madeira has extended the wage conditions and other terms agreed between ANCIA and the unions to the entire regional motor vehicle inspection sector.
