The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection approved the internal redistribution of 420,000 euros in financial support to the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association across three support programmes.
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorised, through Dispatch No. 338/2026, a reallocation of funds in the financial support for the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association. The measure aims to allow the firefighting association to adjust resources to the needs identified throughout the 2026 financial year, ensuring a more efficient use of public funds.
The total amount of support remains unchanged at €420,000.00, but its distribution across the three support programmes of the variable funding component has been altered. The redistribution was requested by the association itself, based on an analysis of the reported financial execution.

The dispatch, signed by Regional Secretary Micaela Cristina Fonseca de Freitas, determines that the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM, notifies the beneficiary entity, the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association, of this decision.
