Two civil society entities will each receive financial support of 10,000 euros through programme contracts signed with the Regional Government.
The Regional Government approved the signing of two programme contracts to provide financial support to a livestock breeders' cooperative and an animal protection association. The decisions were made in a plenary session of the Council of the Government on July 9, 2026.
The support, with a maximum value of 10,000 euros for each entity, aims to support their activities during the year 2026. The beneficiaries are:
In both cases, the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries was mandated to sign the contracts on behalf of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The expenses are budgeted in the Region's Budget for 2026.
The Regional Youth Directorate will sign programme-contracts with three Madeiran associations, awarding a total support of 18,000 euros for their activity plans.
The municipality signed a program contract to financially support the 15th Madalena do Mar Canoe Regatta, organized by the Madeira Regional Canoeing Association.
The Government Council authorized a program-contract to financially support the 2026 activity plan of the Social Solidarity Association Crescer Sem Risco.
