Regional Government supports travel for four sports clubs
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved sports development program contracts to support the travel of four clubs across various disciplines.
The Regional Government Council has authorized the signing of sports development program contracts (CPDD) intended to cover expenses related to travel, trips, and daily allowances for sports agents for the 2025/2026 season. The support aims to ensure the participation of regional clubs in national and regional competitions, mitigating the costs resulting from insularity.
- Ludens Clube de Machico: Support of €2,072.00 for participation in national padel championships (Resolution no. 458/2026).
- Prestige Dance - Clube de Dança Desportiva: Support of €23,497.00 for participation in national sports dance championships (Resolution no. 459/2026).
- Sporting Clube da Madeira: Support of €1,267.00 for participation in regional futsal competitions (Resolution no. 460/2026).
- Sporting Clube Santacruzense: Support of €17,091.00 for participation in national boccia championships (Resolution no. 461/2026).
These contracts are effective until December 31, 2026, and are managed by the Regional Directorate of Sports.
