Sao Roque Casa do Povo Day Center secures regional funding
The Madeira Social Security Institute has formalized a cooperation agreement with the Casa do Povo de Sao Roque to ensure the continuity of its Day Center social service.
Through Resolution no. 287/2026, the Regional Government authorized the signing of a standard cooperation agreement between the Madeira Social Security Institute (ISSM, IP-RAM) and the Casa do Povo de Sao Roque. This agreement aims to secure funding for the Day Center social service, ensuring the continuity of care provided to the elderly population.
The funding includes:
- A monthly amount of 10,661.50 € for the period between October 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026.
- Starting March 1, 2026, a transition to the standard funding model, based on 50 contracted places at a unit value of 357.66 € per user.
The agreement is valid for three years, is automatically renewable, and reinforces the regional commitment to the sustainability of local social services.
