The Autonomous Region of Madeira will acquire a plot of land in Santo António, valued at 10,718.25 euros, necessary for the execution of an access and safety infrastructure project.
The Regional Government has authorised the acquisition of a private plot of land by agreement to proceed with an infrastructure project in the parish of Santo António, Funchal. The operation costs 10,718.25 euros.
According to Regional Government Council Resolution No. 849/2026, the plot of land No. 20 from the subdivision plan for the 'Access and Safety Infrastructure in the Upper Zones of Santo António - Caminho da Barreira - Curral Velho Section' project will be acquired through private law. The owners of the land are José Leandro Cró Fernandes Luís and Maria Fátima Fernandes Luís.
The acquisition is considered indispensable for pursuing the public interest inherent to the project. The Regional Secretary for Finance, Duarte Nuno Nunes de Freitas, has been authorised to represent the Region in the execution of the public deed of acquisition.
The Council of Government has approved a resolution authorizing an expenditure of 6.72 million euros for a slope stabilization and protection project on Via Expresso 2, between the Ladeira da Vinha and João Delgado tunnels.
Order No. 430/2026 authorizes the budget distribution for the rehabilitation project of the Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Mixed Fire Station, with a maximum value of 2,475,416.66 euros.
Ordinance No. 426/2026 authorizes the allocation of 6.72 million euros for slope stabilization and protection works on a section of Expressway 2 between the Ladeira da Vinha and João Delgado tunnels.
