Regional Government invests 1.2 million euros in the redesign of the Cortado Junction
The project to redesign the Cortado Junction has a total budget of 1,266,500.00 euros, distributed over the 2026 and 2027 fiscal years.
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized, through Ordinance no. 230/2026, the distribution of the budgetary charges necessary for the execution of the project titled Redesign of the Cortado Junction. The total investment amounts to 1,266,500.00 euros, plus VAT at the current legal rate.
The payment plan for this road infrastructure is scheduled as follows:
- Fiscal year 2026: 72,916.60 €
- Fiscal year 2027: 1,193,583.40 €
The ordinance also establishes that the amount set for each year may be increased by the balance from the previous year, ensuring the continuity of the tender procedure and the works.
