Two orders authorise the Madeira Hotel and Tourism School to enter into up to 70 service contracts with trainers. The authorisations cover technological specialisation courses and vocational training, with different validity periods.
The Madeira Hotel and Tourism School (EHTM) has been authorised to enter into a maximum of 70 service contracts with trainers under two orders issued by the Regional Secretariat for Finance. The contracts are intended to ensure the delivery of the courses offered by the school.
The authorisations were issued under Ordinance No. 319/2018 of 24 August and the budgetary and employment framework cited in the orders. Order No. 404/2026 was signed on 10 September 2026, and Order No. 405/2026 on 8 September 2026.
A new regulation sets out who can attend training courses run by the Regional Directorate for Public Administration and the conditions for receiving certificates. The rules include minimum attendance requirements, mandatory declarations, and new record-keeping and data protection obligations.
The Regional Government approved financial support for the operation and social action of two private educational establishments, totaling over 1.9 million euros.
The Regional Directorate of School Administration has authorized the permanent transfer of two technical assistants to the Ponta do Sol Basic and Secondary School.
