The Regional Directorate for European Affairs will monitor attendance and contract compliance for scholarship holders on the Estagiar na Europa - Madeira programme. Officials have also been appointed to oversee the Brussels internship and contract implementation.
The Regional Government has delegated to the Regional Directorate for European Affairs the responsibility for monitoring attendance at professional internships and compliance with contracts signed with scholarship holders on the Estagiar na Europa - Madeira programme.
Order No. 410/2026 appoints Filipa Andreia Moniz Rodrigues to oversee attendance at the 2026-2027 edition’s professional internship at the Representation Office in Brussels of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Maria Manuela Caldeira de Almeida Lopes Leite is responsible for ensuring compliance with the contract signed with the scholarship holder.
The programme is aimed at young people with a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree who are Portuguese nationals and residents of the Region. It offers professional internships at European bodies or at regional or central public administration offices located in Brussels, together with an internship grant.
Tânia Raquel Calafatinho Nicolau has been appointed to lead the Human Resources Division of the Madeira School of Hospitality and Tourism. Her three-year appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026.
Candidates admitted to recruitment competitions for operational assistant roles in Madeira’s public schools have been called to sit the exam on 24 October 2026. The venue and time are available on the Regional Directorate for School Administration website.
António José de Carvalho Lucas will remain regional director of school administration, with his appointment renewed for three years from 20 November 2026.
