Regional Government supports beekeeping sector and cider producers
The Regional Government Council has approved two support measures for the regional agricultural sector:
- Compensation for Beekeepers: Resolution no. 537/2026 authorizes the payment of €12,506.00 under the item "Beekeepers to be Compensated - Process 1 - 2026". The measure compensates owners for the sanitary culling of 71 hives, 9 nuclei, and 6 half-supers, due to an outbreak of American foulbrood.
- Support for the Cider Producers Association of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APSRAM): Resolution no. 538/2026 authorizes the signing of a program contract to ensure the operation and statutory activities of the association, with a financial contribution of €30,000.00 for the year 2026.
