Regional Government grants support to ten Madeiran sports clubs
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized sports development program contracts with ten associations and clubs, totaling over 230,000 euros for the 2025/2026 season.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Presidency, has formalized the allocation of financial support to ten sports entities in the Region, aiming to promote physical activity, participation in regional competitions, and the organization of sporting events for the 2025/2026 season. The support, granted by the Regional Directorate of Sports, seeks to ensure the sustainability of sports disciplines and support high-potential athletes.
The beneficiary entities and their respective support are:
- Associação Cultural e Desportiva do Jardim da Serra: €58,032.00 (Resolution no. 312/2026)
- Associação Desportiva Galomar: €41,944.28 (Resolution no. 316/2026)
- Associação de Karting da Madeira: €26,651.96 (Resolution no. 313/2026)
- Associação Desportiva Pontassolense: €25,567.34 (Resolution no. 317/2026)
- Associação Desportiva, Recreativa e Cultural "Os Xavelhas": €25,094.73 (Resolution no. 318/2026)
- Associação Náutica de Câmara de Lobos: €23,709.36 (Resolution no. 320/2026)
- Associação Desportiva do Porto da Cruz: €16,143.76 (Resolution no. 315/2026)
- Associação Escola de Futebol João Inácio: €8,113.37 (Resolution no. 319/2026)
- Associação Desportiva de Muay Thai da Madeira: €7,883.77 (Resolution no. 314/2026)
- Clube Judo Brava: €2,509.42 (Resolution no. 321/2026)
These program contracts, which remain in effect until December 31, 2026, reinforce the regional executive's commitment to sports associations, covering diverse disciplines such as football, futsal, karting, judo, muay thai, canoeing, among others.
