Regional Government supports two philharmonic bands with non-repayable subsidies
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized financial support for two musical associations under the 2026 support program for philharmonic bands, tunas, and folk groups.
The Regional Government Council has approved the signing of program contracts with two musical entities, aiming to compensate for VAT incurred on eligible expenses during 2025. The support, granted under Regional Legislative Decree no. 10/2018/M, is intended to cover costs for the acquisition and maintenance of instruments, uniforms, and consumable materials.
- Associação Banda Municipal de Santana: Financial support in the amount of €320.50, formalized by Resolution no. 571/2026.
- Banda Municipal do Funchal - Artistas Funchalenses: Financial support in the amount of €1,344.58, formalized by Resolution no. 573/2026.
These contracts are valid until December 31, 2026, with the management of the process being the responsibility of the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture.
