The Regional Government has authorised a non-repayable grant of €967.97 for the Centro Cívico Cultural e Social da Ribeira Seca - Tuna de Câmara de Machico. The amount covers VAT paid in 2025 on expenses essential to the tuna’s activities.
The Regional Government Council revoked two decisions to fund cultural projects after their organisers said they could not go ahead because rescheduling was not possible. The revoked grants were capped at €5,000 and €1,500.
The Regional Government has authorised the distribution, from 2026 to 2029, of costs for the restoration project at São João Baptista do Pico Fortress in São Pedro. The investment amounts to €103,780, plus VAT.
