The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries has opened a competitive procedure for the position of Director of Planning and Financial Administration Services at the Regional Fisheries Directorate.
The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries has announced the opening of a competition to fill, on a service commission basis, a 1st-grade intermediate management position. The competitive procedure was opened by the Order of the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries dated August 3, 2026 and formalized through Notice No. 381/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The position in question is Director of Planning and Financial Administration Services of the Regional Fisheries Directorate, with a three-year term. The workplace will be at the Regional Fisheries Directorate, in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos.
Public sector workers, hired or appointed on a permanent basis, who hold a bachelor's degree and have three years of relevant professional experience may apply. The required profile includes specialized knowledge in the area of the position's responsibilities, as well as organizational, leadership, communication, and critical analysis skills.
Applications must be formalized through a request addressed to the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries and submitted at the headquarters of the regional secretariat, at Rua Dr. Pestana Júnior, No. 3, 5th floor, in Funchal. The deadline for submitting applications is 10 working days, counted from the publication of the notice.

Miguel Gomes Nunes and Rita Brazão de Freitas have been appointed to senior management posts for three years. The appointments take effect on 21 and 15 September 2026, respectively.
Bárbara Sofia Silva Teixeira has been appointed coordinator of the Customer Support Unit at the Institute of Mobility and Transport, IP-RAM. The appointment takes effect from 1 September 2026 and includes the legally established additional remuneration for the role.
Ordinance No. 542/2026 sets out how IT goods and services supplied by the DRI to regional public entities are charged. Consultancy and specialised technical support will be subject to daily rates of €40 or €60, depending on the technical profile.
