The Madeiran executive has authorized the creation of petty cash funds for the management of current and urgent expenses in three regional directorates of the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, has proceeded with the establishment of petty cash funds to ensure speed in the payment of unavoidable and urgent expenses. The measure aims to circumvent the slowness of standard accounting processing in situations that require immediate payments, namely through debit cards.
In all cases, the responsibility for managing the funds was assigned to specialist coordinator Ana Paula Pontes de Abreu Rodrigues, with substitution ensured by senior technician Tânia Gonçalves Nunes in case of impediment.
