Regional Government establishes petty cash funds for three regional directorates
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, has proceeded with the establishment of petty cash funds to ensure speed in the payment of unavoidable and urgent expenses. The measure aims to circumvent the slowness of standard accounting processing in situations that require immediate payments, namely through debit cards.
- Regional Directorate of Tourism: Fund of €2,150.00 intended for the promotion of the Madeira destination (Order no. 160/2026).
- Regional Directorate of Culture: Fund of €500.00 for current and urgent expenses (Order no. 161/2026).
- Regional Directorate of Archives, Libraries and Books: Fund of €500.00 for current and urgent expenses (Order no. 162/2026).
In all cases, the responsibility for managing the funds was assigned to specialist coordinator Ana Paula Pontes de Abreu Rodrigues, with substitution ensured by senior technician Tânia Gonçalves Nunes in case of impediment.
